Courtney Climbing up the Slide

July, 2002 - Courtney is 9.5 months old, and loves loves loves to climb. If you forget to put the gate up, she'll be 1/2 way up the stairs before you know it. She even climbs *up* the slide when given a chance.
Here she goes, using her toes as leverage against the sides of the slide until she can get a grip on the top.

And now that I'm in there - it's play time!
Not only does she love climbing, but now she pulls herself up to standing all the time as well. After a while she usually gets stuck and either a) manages to get down gracefully, b) hollers for help, or c) plops down rather hard on her butt.
Look at me! I'm King of the World!
