Why is mowing the lawn such a big deal that pictures need to be taken? Well, in Vermont you don't just have lawns - you've got serious brush. And, when the first time you mow the lawn is July, that brush is way beyond what a typical lawn mower can handle. That's why you employ some SERIOUS hardware to get your lawn mowed.
This is the same kind of mower that you usually see along the side of the highway, mowing the median. It worked well for our driveway, too!

The killer mower is taking care of the hill between the house and the road. Notice that Jeff, Sal, and some other dude who showed up with the mower have been in about the same place the whole time, "supervising".
